Dancing elevates you into a mindset, easing you into a trance and letting your body flow to the music, allowing any illness that once habited your body to free its claws from your soul.

Nrityamrutha organized a webinar on Dance Therapy in collaboration with the student-led organization 13to19 on Saturday, July 15, 2023. This session was designed to explore the therapeutic potential of dance, blending movement with emotional well-being.

The workshop featured Priya Vijay as the guest speaker, a distinguished Mental Health Therapist and Dance/Movement Therapy Practitioner and Founder of The Halcyon Experience, Bengaluru. Priya Vijay shared her extensive knowledge on the intersection of mental health and movement, guiding participants through exercises that demonstrated how movement can be a powerful tool for healing and self-expression.

This session not only introduced participants to the concept of Dance Therapy but also provided a safe space to explore their emotions through the medium of dance, fostering a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection.
